Dewatering Without Investment!

The time is difficult in these days and many projects might need to be postponed due to the circumstances caused by the outbreak of COVID-19. The sludge treatment cannot be put aside nor it can be left undone. Reluctance to invest into a new dewatering equipment we understand, and that is why we offer you the most convenient option - AMCON RENTAL SOLUTION, which can come in handy in many cases:

we have no budget to invest in purchasing a dewatering machine this year, but we need a funcitioning machine now,
our existing dewatering machine is put into service and we need a solution immediately,
sludge production has been increased due to an increase in our production line and we need extra capacity immediately,
we need a temporary solution to empty a “sludge pond.”

VOLUTE^TM as an Emergency Solution of a Broken DAF

There is a unit being rented in Germany since March 7, dewatering raw wastewater coming from food processing plant, as a temporary replacement of non-functioning DAF unit.

Special Coating for Smooth Operation of VOLUTE^TM

In some cases, sludge can stick to the screw, especially when we apply VOLUTE^TM to chemical and/or fibrous sludge. In such moment, the sludge starts to rotate together with the screw rather than being pushed up towards the outlet. This reduces the dryness and throughput and increases the risk of blocking. Various PTFE coatings on the screw helps to solve this problem. It is either applied during production of the unit as a clogging prevention, or - ideally - when a pilot test has confirmed its necessity.

AMCON also offers various anti-corrosion coatings for highly corrosive sludge types. Instead of having done an upscale upgrade of the whole unit to 316Ti or Duplex, a technical anti-corrosion coating on specific components like the flocculation tank (while still upgrading the other components) can provide more affordable solution to the end-user.
